There are 10,000 people in the US celebrating their 60th birthday everyday! The “Baby Boomer” generation has influenced this country’s economy in many ways.   
The most unsettling influence is starting to unfold now.  
One of the rules that the IRS mandates is that the owner of the IRA or 401K can begin taking distributions at 59 ½ years of age, and mandatory distributions must, by law, commence at 70 yrs of age or be penalized.  
It is nearly incomprehensible to imagine what can and may WILL occur with the Boomers’  retirement money.

I am a Baby Boomer. 

Born in 1949, I have worked all of my life.   

I have made investments – some good and some not so good.  But I have come to fully accept and realize that my retirement vehicles of the past mean little.   

I am not here to focus on the negative aspects of what has begun, but more positively, recognizing the coming and leveraging that knowledge to inform our clients of the incredible opportunity to move their money into a more “real” arena.  

The statistics clearly show that overall performance of the Stock Market, since it’s inception over 100 years ago, has actually LOST money!  

At the end of the day I know that I desire and that my friends and my generation want a safe and sound vehicle for their retirement funds. 

From my experience of nearly 40 years in the real estate industry real estate is the best overall investment. 

Be it appreciation, leverage, tax benefits, cash flow or ‘will ability’ real estate will far supersede other strategies overall in investments.
